Title: A day of downs and ups!
Post by: GM0LVI on January 29, 2016, 21:36:43 UTC
Woke this morning to find that gale 'Gertrude' had broken the branch in our old pear tree that my 30m GP has been attached to for the past 15 years. The GP was lying horizontal with one end in the tree and the other on the house roof.
Later this morning the post arrived with a couple of QSLs from UR5FA, Igor. One was for a 2x QRP contact from my home when he was /MM in grid OK96, a QRB of 10294 km and the other for a contact when I was SV8/GM0LVI/P. Both QSOs were 2x @ 5 Watts, though from home I was using a 2el quad and from Greece just a little Buddistick.
Thanks Igor!!
