Hello to One and All.
I am a member of 2 days, but have been into QRP since about 1979.
My equipment includes an AN/PRC-74 and a Yaesu FT-817ND. I operate from my shack in Kankakee, IL, mobile and portable in my back yard, a park, or when traveling.
I have never considered QRP as something special, requiring special handling, just lower power than most other stations. I am not a true contester or DXer, but have participated in two contests, ARRL IL QSO Party, and ARRL November Sweepstakes. I'd much rather get to know the person on the other end of the circuit.
