Title: YO4TNV on DR-135mkII serial hookup trouble
Post by: YO4TNV on December 16, 2013, 11:31:34 UTC
Hi there people !

I recently bought an DR-135mkII and still don`t know how to hook up an serial or serial2usb cable to interface with CHIRP programming software. The DB9 port in the back is useless, designed for internal TNC comm, which is missing in my case. May be the front DATA jack designed for GPS readings ? Any ideea anyone ?

Thank you !
Victor

I think that DATA jack is only for the gps board, that radio support APRS function like DR635?

lately seems that DATA jack is the only way to interact with CHIRP. I`ll post feedback soon
