Anyone across the pond fancy trying a sked on 20m?
For the past couple of weeks I've been working into NA every evening from about 1630 to 1900z on what can seem like a dead band here, but the propagation is still there into Canada and the eastern USA. In fact there's a few surprises to be had - few evenings ago I worked into CA on 12m at 1630z, 1400 Watts one way v 5 Watts the other!
Anyone up for a try?? Then Just send me a pm.

Hello Dave,
Yes the band looks dead here too for many days, but I'm redy to have
a try with you, it would be fun.
On 20 meters, say around 14,060, and we can QSY 14,062 + or - QRM at 16:30 Z
I shall be there.
By the way you have nice set-up on QRZ page.
See you tomorrow ?

Great Michel, lets give it a try!

Well that was a success Michel. I was struggling to hear you at first on 14.060 as there was a LZ station calling CQ and he was quite strong, however when we QSYd up you were fully readable - until a slight change in propagation brought up some QRM from other stations in NA.
My apologies for the QSD fist - I'm still getting back into cw after neglecting it for too many years!
We'll have to try again on some other bands.

Yes that was a success Dave, and yes I heard a Californian station on .062 who was coming over S-9 here, but anyway we got it.
This part of the band is sometimes empty, and sometimes full of all kind of signals from all over.-
We'll have to gry again on some other bands.

I have the new homebrew 20M rig going and it is on 14052 but is a vfo. It drifts up slightly when cold but I can keep it in line. I m in for a qso if you have a slow fist

I could just hear my call on the return but noise floor was not good so I couldn't copy beyond that although I gave it a good try. I was reading 14051 on my rx . Time was 2 minutes ago from this post that I quit. Don't know who it was but would like to.
