The new rules are here (http://www.qrpclub.org/qrp/index.php?topic=872.0). We can discuss the rules in this topic, thanks.

Nice idea Nicola.
My only suggestion is that under rule V.- B. Instead of limiting contacts to only once per member station, could it be 'once per band'? Club members are hard to find and once per band might increase the number of entries.

This is true, but the rule is intended to avoid agreements to rapidly increase the score. However, we could establish two rankings: a general ranking with multiple contacts ('once per band') and a special ranking without multiple contacts (a special award for solo sailing).

Another idea: multiple contacts are not allowed on the same day. ;)

Yes, I like that idea.

I would prefer much simpler rules, for examples:
- No ITU/DXCC multipliers, it makes scoring complicated
- No exchange numbers needed
- 1 point for QSOs between the same country, 3 points for the same continent and 10 points for DX
Points are mulitplied by 2 when power is 1 Watt or below
It would be nice to see the number of countries worked in the scoring
Anyone want to comment on this? :D

Nice ideas ....
But all a bit compicated ..... Very easiest way ..... No numbers .... all contacts counting you worked over the year with qrp power .... QSO with no members own country and/or own continet count 1 pont, no member from DX count 2 points, member from own country and/or continent count 3 points and member from DX count 5 points ..... Each contact QRP/QRP (no difference between members and no members) gives 1 extra multiplier (so aks the qao partner about the used power) ....
No upload of contacts allowed which you work in an official contest (like cqww, cqwpx e.g.) but pileup work for DX allowed
Power limits:
CW & Digitals: 5 Watt max.
SSB: 10 Watt max.
Only my 2 cents ;) ;)

Yes, I agree. Contest QSOs should be excluded. But somehow there must be an extra bonus when you work a QRP club member. This is to encourage membership! 8)

Ok, but how could I manage so many logs? It would take a software... ^-^

If there are no other suggestions, Monday will begin the contest with the new rules.

Please clarify Nicola - are credits only given for contacts with QRPC members?

Yes.

I participated in the PACC contest this weekend on 20 and 40 meters with 5 Watts, total of 176 QSO's. Members worked: UA1CEX, SE2I, OK1DIG, SP4GHL, thanks!
To bad it doesn't count for the QRP club contest, would have made it to the first place! :))
-
That's great Joop for 5 Watts. The members you did work will count for your 2015 score I guess.
I've not managed a single contact with a QRPC member this year. Was though pretty pleased and very surprised to work WA7UQE in Washington state 559 both ways on 12m this evening.

Hi Dave,
in the rules it clearly says:
QSO Points: Stations may be contacted once on each band. Multiple contacts are not allowed on the same day. Contacts occurred during other contests have 0 QSO point value. Points are based on the location of the station worked.
Maybe Nicola can comment on this?
Congrats with the WA7 worked!

Yes, this is a new rule. ^-^

How is this contest working out?
Are you planning this for next year?
Is there anyway to verify contacts, beside the two members logging the contact?
Did you ever get a web site to handle this?
Looks like the contest fell apart... dang it.
Too late for me to get in.
