Title: Greetings from Cornwall
Post by: G7OPC on February 27, 2016, 13:46:08 UTC
Hi, thought I introduce myself. Don't use the radio too often, but intend to be more active now the days are getting warmer and brighter. Generally mobile with a Wouxun 70/145MHz FM handie, and portable with FT817 and a 1/4 wave vertical tapped for 21/24/28MHz. Also good opportunity to use the K for Kernow (Cornwall) regional callsign before it runs out at the end of the year.

Cheers, Dave G7OPC - GK7OPC

Welcome to the club Dave.
Your 817 is a great little radio, I used one for many years on VHF and HF and in many respects regret selling it!

Hi Dave, I would never sell my FT-817. Far too useful and versatile  :)
