Title: The QRP Challenge
Post by: VE2PID on December 30, 2013, 14:55:30 UTC
Hello to all ...

Just in case you may want to join, there is a QRP "event" going on all year long. It is called The QRP Challenge and it starts at the beginning of each year... the 7th edition just 2 days away. The managers are from France, but the event is open worldwide.

Details here: The QRP Challenge. (http://qrpfr.free.fr/challenge/index_gb.php)

For this activity in 2013, I made 1127 portable QRP CW QSOs using mainly the Elecraft KX3 at 3 or 5 Watts, and shown on the following picture. My antenna was always an inverted-V at 22 feet-apex.

Happy 2014 to all QRPers from VE2PID/QRP k ..
