Kantronics unit with software (cartridge) for VIC 20
« on: March 02, 2014, 02:34:35 UTC »
Back in the early days I had a Kantronics unit on a Vic 20 computer. It worked well with rtty and cw
I still have it and some of the cabling and I have even seen the manual here somewhere. The Vic 20 quit although I was told it was probably just the power supply but it is still here. Is it passé or does it still have some value?

Rather tres passe now Don unless you are really intent on setting up a classic 'retro' station. You'll need a new PSU and presumably an RGB monitor too.
Keep it for another ten years or so and it may well have some 'value' as an antique computer as the old ones are growing in value.
