Welcome to the site. You have an impressive resume. I'm new here as well as to amateur radio, and operate an FT-817nd SSB while learning CW. Building wire antennas is one of the things I really enjoy doing. Since you say you're a NO PHONE EXTRA, does that mean you don't own any microphones, don't use microphones or have a physical disability that leaves you unable to speak? Just curious, as I've not heard the phrase NO PHONE EXTRA in the three short years I've been doing this.
