I dusted off my HW-8 today and hooked it up to my dipole and had a QSO with OM2VL. That's about 3000 miles per watt! Not bad! QRP rules!

Hello Dave,
Yes it is a great QSO, every weeks or so, I have nice QSO like this one.
Today, just worked A45XR, Chris, in Oman for a distance of 10696 KM (6646 miles) with my peanut whistle.
By the way, you have a very nice set-up for having fun on the bands.
Hope so see you on the air, or during the NAQCC Sprint this month.
Have a nice week-end
