Good idea "SPECIAL DOK FART"  ;D ;D ;D

I agree that there are "too many special calls on the air. it is a new trend for many years in the 21st century.

A special call is good for those who work for the WPX award , and for some who want to attract attention amongs the dx'ers,. and also into the contests.

Here in Canada, if you want a special call, you ask for it, you pay 60.00$ CAN, and it is good only for the time of the event.

So if you absolutely want one, you have to make a search of any kind of anniversary event, and then you ask for it.
