Title: Table for portable qrp operation.
Post by: sm5mek on June 14, 2014, 18:35:16 UTC
I have just did this table for more comfort during my field activities. Very easy to do, but the plate for connecting the sheet to the tripod was buildt i tree layers of lexan plastic 1 layer 3mm and two layer 5 mm. Maybee easier to buy it as sparepart in some shop for such things.

It is similar to my "SupPorTablet" (https://www.qrpclub.org/qrp/index.php?topic=97.0).

It is, yours look almost overloaded with the antenna in the back, is it self supporting? The tripod looks almost familiar.  :))
I have the antenna beside and the table, a little wider, is on plywood, all for the weight. Well there is nothing new under the sun.   8)

Yes, but it is very adaptable. For example, if I have a round railing, I use this version (see here: https://www.qrpclub.org/qrp/index.php?topic=651.0 (https://www.qrpclub.org/qrp/index.php?topic=651.0)):
