Title: Ten meter Beacons
Post by: VE2TH on January 21, 2014, 00:53:04 UTC
Hello,

Here is the best TEN METER BEACON LIST

at the following link:

http://www.qsl.net/wj5o/bcn.htm (http://www.qsl.net/wj5o/bcn.htm)

It is the best, because it is always up to date, and Bill WJ5O keep it as accurate as possible.

Beacons are a very good propagation indicator on ten meters. If you begin to listen  regularly, you will notice that ten meter is open more often than you may think.

If you check the list carefully, you will see that nearly 95% of those transmitter are all QRP & QRPp
with simple antennas.

And there are nearly 700 of those peanut  whistle around the world, working day and night for you.

It is really amazing sometimes to hear far away places with such few watts.

Good listening,

Michel VE2TH  QRP

P.S I saw about 23 or 24 just in Italy, sure Nicola can hear somes ?

Yes Nicola,  that is just the beginning but it seems many others like it and use it.

It is really great!
