More vintage QRP success
« on: February 15, 2014, 01:51:27 UTC »
I have had some more success with the old single tube phone TNT transmitter. Did two successful tests with VE3AWA monitoring. Was also heard in NJ. Tonight I had it on the air with another NJ station for quite awhile. Started with my DX60B and Amp but switched to the TNT for quite awhile. Interestingly he said resting carrier of both rigs was about the same S5. Output cannot be that high in the TNT as input is only 9.462 watts. All the ducks must be standing in a row!
