Hello, I am Terry, KB8AMZ. I began building my first rig, the Heathkit HW-9, while studying for the Novice Class license test. I became a QRP operator from necessity. I could not afford a commercially built transceiver and I didn't have the knowledge to build one. CW and QRP are synonymous for me. I enjoy CW on HF and will try CW on the higher bands soon. I enjoy building my own antennas. I have dabbled with packet radio and am eager to try PSK, RTTY,  QRPp and satellite.
