Title: New to the Club
Post by: AA9VJ on March 10, 2016, 19:44:45 UTC
Glad I found this site! Been a Ham for - well, getting to renew for a third decade.

Call is AA9VJ, and when running QRP I use a highly-modified HW-8 with a homebrew dipole.

Just moved into a new QTH, so I hope to get the antenna up soon and begin making contacts with some of you!

Welcome Steve! It's always nice to see another operator from across The Pond joining our fun.
If you pick the right time and QRG you'll manage to make contacts across here without much problem. I work into NA most evenings with 5 Watts. If you've not already discovered it, the Reverse Beacon Network is a great way of seeing how well or otherwise your signal is getting out.
