Welcome, Michael. I'm new here as well, and operate my 817nd ssb. Learning cw, but it will be awhile.

Hi OM, I just joined the club; I work with a ft817 (cw and ssb), with homebrew minituner and attenuator into a longwire. Best result sofar: ZX2B with 100mW SSB into 1/2 wave vertical for 15 meterband.
Have been living in the far North (Kaitaia) for a year with the callsign ZL/PH4U (yes I'm a Dutchie), and am now living in Germany (DC2DC). Hope to work you oneday.
